All clients start their Pilates journey with a 45- to 60-minute Introductory Session.
Here, we will discuss your goals and any health or fitness concerns such as old injuries or daily demands. This will help us customize your workout to fit you where you are at and help you improve in your problem areas. We will complete a Postural Analysis together, to analyze where pain may be originating and to inform the design of your customized workout plans.
We will also learn the Basic Principles of Stott Pilates, and how to apply these principles to your workout and to your daily life. We will then complete a full workout that touches each piece of equipment, including Reformer, Cadillac/Trapeze, and Matwork, so you can experience all of the major Pilates equipment for yourself.
Please notify us before scheduling your first session if you have allergies to tea tree oil or other essential oils that may be used in aromatherapy. Tea tree oil is used to sanitize the Pilates equipment between sessions.
